What is Dog Days of Summer?

Dog Days of Summer is a fun day filled with games and activities for you and your pups that helps raise money for dog rescues throughout Colorado. There are games designed for dogs of every age, size, and ability! Everyone is guaranteed to have a great time and create lasting memories with your favorite fluffy family member!

Can my dog play?

Absolutely! Each of our games has been designed to be inclusive and inviting for every dog who attends. Whether your dog is young or old, athletic or disabled, and any level of training experience, we have a game for you! Some games just need a pup who loves treats!

Can't wait! What should we bring?

Since the event will be during the day in August, we recommend bringing some supplies to help keep both you and your pup comfortable in the heat. The following items are permitted:

  • Folding chairs.
  • Water and other non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Snacks for yourself and your pup, especially if they're a picky eater (we will provide treats for the games).
  • Umbrellas and other sun protection.
  • A water bowl for your pup. We will provide water for dogs.
  • A non-retractable leash. All dogs must be on leash at the event. If your dog is off-leash, you will be asked to leave immediately. Refunds will not be available.
